Colwich is part of the Renwick Unified School District No. 267. Renwick Unified School District is home to four elementary/middle schools and two high schools.

Children from Colwich and the surrounding area attend Colwich Grade School serving kindergarten through eighth grade students. After eighth grade graduation, students attend Andale High School, located just 6 miles west of Colwich. Andale is also home to the USD 267 District office. The City Council at their meeting on Monday, August 17, 2020 adopted Ordinances No. 731 adopting the 2020 Standard Traffic Ordinance, 732 adopting the 2020 Uniform Public Offense Code & 730 authorizing the issuance of General Obligation Bonds Series 2020.
