Why Colwich? Thanks for asking. Colwich is a progressive, forward-thinking community comprised of families of all ages and income brackets. Colwich offers the luxury of country living, family closeness, and yet is located within a 10 minute drive to the largest city in Kansas.

Colwich is proud of its agricultural heritage and yet boasts of having the premier ethanol engineering and manufacturing businesses in the country inside our city limits, testaments to the progressive thinking of our business community.

Colwich’s city government is for the people and governed by the people. The Council is comprised of five residents who make decisions for the good and future of Colwich. The City Council meeting is scheduled for the third Monday of each month (second Monday of January) at 7:00 p.m. at the City Administrative Center, 310 S. 2nd St. Click budget workshop to see the upcoming agenda. Regular city council meeting agendas are available the Wednesday before the meeting.
